This summer, Eanes ISD plans to offer fundamental classes in reading and math for students who were in grades K-5 during the 2019-2020 school year. Recognizing that we have been providing remote instruction, we want to continue our summer programs remotely where we can support students who need additional help or time mastering grade-level objectives.
The classes will be offered in two separate sessions daily, Monday through Thursday, beginning Monday, June 8th, and ending Thursday, June 25th. Students will participate in a half-hour Reading session and a half-hour Math session each morning (M-Th) , similar to the current format of instruction. Students may enroll in either Reading, Math, or both classes. Instruction will be based on individual student profiles provided by the student’s current classroom teacher. Profiles will identify the course objectives needing reinforcement.
The deadline for registration is Friday, May 22, 2020
