WHAT: Music for All National Band Festival in Indianapolis, Indiana

We are honored to announce the West Ridge Middle School Wind Ensemble's invitation to the Music for All National Festival, held March 26-28, 2026 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Presented by Music for All, this festival is one of the most prestigious national events for school music ensembles. Performances at the National Festival are broadcast live around the world to showcase the highest quality of music performance and artistry.
West Ridge was one of only 12 middle schools in the country to be invited this year. “We are delighted to represent West Ridge Middle School and Eanes ISD on this national stage.” said Head Band Director, Alanna Kumme. This is the second time the West Ridge band program has been invited to perform, with their last invitation in 2018.
“This experience is about more than a performance,” said Kumme. “Students will receive extended clinics from nationally respected educators, hear outstanding ensembles from across the country, and grow as musicians, leaders, and teammates.”
The West Ridge Wind Ensemble has a send-off concert at 7:00 pm on Monday, March 23rd at the Westlake High School PAC. The program is proud of their students and grateful for the community support that makes experiences like this possible!
