Susan Fambrough Named CCE Principal

Susan Fambrough has been selected as principal of Cedar Creek Elementary, announced Eanes ISD Superintendent Dr. Tom Leonard today. The announcement follows a thorough process involving nearly 50 students, staff and parents, as well as an online survey to CCE parents and guardians.

Ms. Fambrough most recently served as Testing, Textbook and Student Success Coordinator for Quanah ISD, just south of the Texas-Oklahoma border. She served two years as Principal of Reagan Elementary in QISD. Ms. Fambrough also served as Principal of Steiner Ranch Elementary in Leander ISD five years, plus eight years serving in the role of Principal and Assistant Principal positions in Breckenridge ISD, Seymour ISD and Pflugerville ISD. During her six years of service in Pflugerville ISD, Ms. Fambrough also served one year as Public Relations Coordinator. Along with her multiple years of administrative experience, Ms. Fambrough has three years of teaching experience at the middle school level.

"Susan brings a wealth of experience to our team," said Dr. Leonard. "We are excited for the Cedar Creek community, as we know they will appreciate her enthusiasm and leadership."

Ms. Fambrough received a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Administration from Baylor University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Education from the University of Southern Maine. Ms. Fambrough holds multiple state certifications including Principal (EC-12), Secondary English (6-12), Secondary English Language Arts Composite (6-12) and Secondary Reading (6-12). She has 20 years of experience in public education.

Fambrough replaces Jessica Brown, who is relocating with her family out of state.
