Kindergarten Enrollment 2025

Children who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2025, are eligible to begin Kindergarten in Fall of 2025. Online enrollment opens March 3, 2025.

You will need the following documents to enroll: 

• Child’s birth certificate (original document must be presented at your child's campus)
• Child’s Social Security card (preferred, but optional)
• Child’s immunization record
• Parent or Guardian valid driver’s license indicating a correct, current address in the District
• Family’s proof of residency, including (1) current, signed lease, deed or contract or most recent tax receipt; and (2) a current utility bill for the property in question in parent’s name

Documents can be submitted electronically. To prepare, make sure each document is a separate file. Recommended File Types: .pdf, .jpg or .doc. Limit 10 MB max file size per document. If you do upload the documents electronically, we still need you to bring your child's original birth certificate to your child's campus.
