In March, the Board postponed the May Trustee election, reviewed the Texas Academic Performance Report, approved amendments to the District's Plan for Innovation & Local Control and gave approval to continue 2019 Bond projects such as the Aquatics Center, Robotics expansion and Wrestling space.
In February, our Board discussed amendments to the District's Plan for Innovation, reviewed operational planning updates such as fund balance and bond capacity and passed a resolution regarding a possible election to help the District's budget. The Board also approved the District's priorities and goals for 2020-21.
We celebrated our Trustees in January as a part of School Board Recognition Month. Our Trustees are volunteers who shoulder critical responsibilities and often make difficult choices for our district, all without pay. Their leadership and commitment to the success of our district are admirable and they spend hours and hours on behalf of our community.
