As of today, Eanes ISD is removing its mask requirement, thus making face coverings optional for all students, staff and visitors at all schools and buildings. Until the COVID vaccine is readily available for children younger than the age of 12, face coverings are still strongly encouraged in elementary and middle schools; however, an individual’s choice to wear a face covering is left to his or her discretion, or that of the parents.

Eanes ISD will continue to gradually ease restrictions in schools and buildings. For all staff, students 12 and older and other adults within our buildings, we will make masks optional when we do not have students under the age of 12 present. We hope to be mask-optional for all after Thanksgiving Break.
