Student ID Badges

To support a safe and secure learning environment, Eanes ISD will begin requiring all students in grades 6-12 to wear a district-issued student ID badge during the 2025–2026 school year.
These badges serve as both visual identification and digital access tools for transportation, campus resources, and select facilities.
What to Expect
-
When: Starting the first day of school, August 13, 2025
-
Who: All students in grades 6-12
-
Where: On campus during school hours and while using district transportation
-
How: ID badges will be distributed at back-to-school events or designated pickup locations during the first week of school.

Student ID Badge Guidelines
-
Requirement: Students must wear their official ID badge visibly at all times while on campus during school hours, and when riding district transportation.
-
Placement: ID badges must be worn and visible at all times on the district-provided campus breakaway lanyard. They must remain visible to staff and security personnel throughout the day.
-
Security: Students may not lend or share their badges with others. Misuse or tampering (including applying stickers, buttons, or markings to their badges or badge covers) may result in disciplinary action.
-
Lost/Damaged Badges: Lost or damaged badges must be reported immediately via the campus office. A $10 replacement fee ($5 each for badge and lanyard) will be added to the student’s Skyward account.
