My number one reason that I love working in the Special Education department for Eanes ISD is our students! They are amazing and their families are very involved and care about their progress. My number two reason is the number of opportunities I have had for professional growth. With the help of the district, I have been able to acquire my Master's degree in Special Education and also become a Level 1 Wilson Reading System teacher. I have been able to hold many different teaching positions, including Life Skills, Modified and Collaborative English, and now I am a Reading Specialist. I have taught at two different campuses in my 16 years in the Eanes district. Eanes opens doors for educators to grow and expand their careers.
In Eanes ISD, we support, grow, and celebrate the unique strengths and talents of each staff member in our Special Education department. We would love the opportunity to provide you with the experience we believe all special educators deserve.....come join our family!
