Eanes ISD

Special Education

Eanes ISD offers a free and appropriate public education to all children ages 3-21. Services for students who are deaf-blind, visually impaired or auditorily impaired begin at birth.

We are committed to providing every student with a disability an Individualized Education Program (IEP) in the least restrictive environment that addresses the student’s unique needs. We offer a full continuum of services through specially designed instruction in special education or general education with modifications, special education support, supplementary aids and services and related services.

The EISD Special Education Depatment is looking for typically developing children who are approximately 4 years old to serve as Peer Models in our Early Childhood Special Education classes for the 2023-24 school year. The ECSE classes provide early intervention services for children with disabilities through language-based child-centered activities. Applications are now open and close at 5pm on 2/17/2023.
