Substitute

Fill out our Substitute Application:

1. Visit www.eanesisd.net/jobs
2. Click on the 'Click to view current job openings' Link
3. Select the 'Substitutes' Position, then click 'Apply for Selected Position' on the right
4. Complete and submit application.
   • The application requires you to include a resume and upload an official college transcript. Substitute Nurse applicants must upload a copy of their license.

The Human Resources Department will review submitted applications. Candidates who meet the requirements for substitute positions will be contacted directly with information on the next steps, which include fingerprint clearance, onboarding paperwork, and scheduling substitute orientation.

Please note that completing substitute training and the fingerprinting process does not guarantee employment with the district.

All substitutes must attend an orientation meeting with the Human Resources Department. This training will cover a variety of topics including daily procedures, campus expectations, safety, and more. In addition, all substitutes must complete an online, self-paced training through Vector Solutions. Substitutes become eligible to receive one day of pay for this training after working ten school days.

Once all onboarding requirements are complete, substitutes will receive access to Frontline, the district’s absence management system. Through Frontline, substitutes can view, select, and manage their assignments.
