How do I apply for a position at Eanes ISD?
Candidates need to complete an online application. All candidates are required to have a submitted application to be considered for any position in Eanes ISD.
When should I apply for a position at Eanes ISD?
Candidates should visit our job board often and apply for positions of interest. Our job board is updated daily to reflect current vacancies.
For teaching positions:

Candidates who are earning their teaching certificate through a university program are encouraged to apply during their final semester of student teaching.

Candidates anticipating certification through an alternative certification program are encouraged to apply once enrolled in a program. It is helpful to upload enrollment documentation to your application.
I have already registered to apply online, but my log-in credentials are not working. What should I do?
When applying online, candidates create a username and password. For password assistance, click the “forgot username/password” link on the login page. If you need further assistance please call the Eanes ISD Human Resources Department at (512) 732-9010.
Does Eanes ISD require official transcripts for the application process?
When applying online, you can upload a copy of your transcript to your application. If you are offered and accept a position, an electronic official transcript will be required.
To whom should I address my cover letter?
The application system allows candidates to upload one cover letter. If you are applying for multiple positions at various campuses, we suggest taking a general approach by addressing your letter to the “Campus Principal” or “Hiring Manager”.
After applying, how soon will I hear from Eanes ISD?
Campus and department hiring managers regularly review completed applications. It is the discretion of the hiring manager to determine the timeline to fill a position.
How can I schedule an interview with HR?
Interviews are conducted at the campus or department level. If selected for an interview, the campus/department will contact you directly to schedule.
Do I have to be certified to teach?
In Texas, all public school teachers must hold a valid Texas teaching certificate. Learn more about becoming a certified teacher.
How do I know the rate of pay for a position?
Eanes ISD salary scales are published online. It is important to include all prior work experience on your resume as salaries are set based on previous work experience. For teacher salary placement, teachers are required to submit service records upon hire.
