I am the Registered Nurse for WRMS, please reach out to me with any questions or concerns. My goal is to help provide a safe, healthy and supportive environment for your child. I have been a nurse since 2008 and am so fortunate to have found my dream position with EISD.
My nursing career has included work in the Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical/Oncology, Psychiatric and School Nursing. I’ve held positions as a Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Educator, Nurse Manager and Interim Director of Nursing. Before I became a nurse, I led trail crews with the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (environmental conservation and disaster relief) and was a Wilderness Therapy Instructor on Cape Cod. I’m an alum of NOL’s (National Outdoor Leadership School) where I obtained my certificate from the WMI (Wilderness Medicine Institute) in WFR (Wilderness First Responder) and EMT-b (Emergency Medical Technician). Public service and environmental conservation are important to me; I’ve served 2 terms with AmeriCorps and my husband is a former Peace Corps volunteer.
I am the mother of 2 wonderful children; my daughter attends Bridge Point and my son will be there soon. Watching children grow, learn and laugh brings me immense joy. I love to cook
(and eat!), hike, kayak, practice yoga, travel, learn Spanish and read. My curious and adventurous spirit has drawn me all over the world. Explorations have included: India, Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Hawaii, Argentina and Uruguay.
I look forward to meeting your children and navigating these challenging times with positivity and courage.
