TCHATT (Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine)

Westlake High School, Hill Country Middle School and West Ridge Middle School are participating in TCHATT (Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine) in partnership with Dell Medical School. This Tier 3 intervention provides assessment of high-risk students experiencing acute mental health concerns, followed by brief interventions with licensed providers (up to five sessions), and connection to other resources if needed.  Students are referred to the program through the campus School-Based Therapists. Referral requires parent permission and participation in the process.  All sessions are free, virtual and conducted during the school day.

Expansion of this program to other Eanes schools will be considered based on need and capacity to add campuses to the program.
