Google Science Fair
Eanes ISD is proud to announce that we are offering the opportunity for all secondary students to participate in Google’s global science fair. Google Science Fair is an online global science competition sponsored by Google, LEGO, Virgin Galactic, National Geographic, and Scientific American. Google science fair is not a traditional science fair. Entrants are expected to come up with a creative and innovative solution to a real-world problem. Entries are judged on five core criteria, which include: inspirational idea, capacity to make impact, passion for science/engineering, excellence of method, and communication ability. There are 179 prizes for participants with the grand prize being a $50,000 educational scholarship. Entrants must be between 13-18 years old when their research is submitted, and they can compete individually or as a group (2-3 students).
