Fundamental classes in reading and math will be offered during the dates of June 11 to June 28, 2012. These classes are for students who are currently enrolled in grades K-5 during this 2011-2012 school year. The program is designed to support students who need additional help mastering grade level objectives.The classes will be offered at Cedar Creek Elementary in two separate sessions daily, Monday through Thursday, for a period of three weeks. Reading will be from 8:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and Math will start at 10:15 a.m. and continue to 12:00 p.m. A short break of 15 minutes will happen between classes. Students may be enrolled in either the Reading or Math classes or both classes. Instruction will be based on individual student profiles provided by the student’s current classroom teacher. Profiles will identify the course objectives that need additional reinforcement. The Eanes ISD 2012 Elementary Summer School information and registration packet which provides the dates, times, location, and cost for the elementary summer school sessions, as well as the registration form, will be available in your child’s school office. The deadline for registration is Friday, May 18, 2012.
