Welcome Staff!
The greatest resource of Eanes ISD is an amazing team of dedicated professionals serving students in various capacities to ensure that our students enjoy the best possible educational experience. Eanes has outstanding teachers who approach instruction in innovative and engaging ways. EISD teachers have an average of more than 14 years of experience and about 60 percent have been teaching for more than 10 years. Eanes ISD teachers frequently receive professional honors, are published in journals and publications, and are invited to make presentations at seminars and workshops.
The continued professional learning of all faculty and staff is a major district goal. Approximately one-third of EISD teachers have advanced college degrees and, starting with those teachers hired for the 2008-09, Board policy requires teachers obtain their master's degrees within eight years of joining the district. In 2007, a unique program to support teachers pursuing master's degrees was created. The Partnership for Teacher Excellence Program (PTEP) features a cohort of teachers each year who enroll in a graduate program at Texas State University that has been tailored to Eanes teachers. The Eanes Education Foundation provides 50 percent of the cost of tuition.
Teachers are supported by experienced administrators and principals who skillfully provide direction for EISD schools. Support staff take pride in serving district students in a variety of roles: providing transportation ... preparing meals ... caring for facilities ... maintaining efficiency in offices ... rendering technical support for computers.
