Where to Look for Weather-Related Alerts
If at any time a decision is made to cancel school, release early, or delay the start of the school day, several methods are used by Eanes ISD to notify parents, students and staff.
1. District website (www.eanesisd.net)
2. Through local electronic media: live broadcasts, scrolls, and media websites
3. District‐wide list‐serv message, potentially reinforced by school list‐serv messages
4. Staff email
5. District Facebook (www.facebook.com/EanesISD) and Twitter (www.twitter.com/EanesISD) sites.
6. Receive District news and alerts via text message by sending a text to "40404" with "Follow EanesISD" in the body of the message (Note: standard text-messaging rates apply).
