Eanes ISD and Lake Travis ISD Offer Transition Fair for Students with Disabilities

Eanes ISD and Lake Travis ISD will co-host a Transition and College Fair for students with disabilities Saturday, Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Lake Travis High School Cafeteria, 3324 Ranch Road 620 South.

Representatives from local and state agencies and community resource centers will share information and answer questions regarding:

• transition services

• respite care

• SSI

• guardianship

• legal rights

• housing

• funding sources

• employment

• social and recreational opportunities

Representatives from colleges and universities will share information and answer questions regarding:

• the application process

• types of programs/certifications/degrees offered

• support services available for students with disabilities

• financial aid assistance
