Mr. Fred Benitez
Mr. Benitez is an outstanding colleague who continually finds ways to make all teachers and students aware of innovative technology that increase opportunities for learning. He has done a wonderful job organizing new technology rollouts and training our teachers and is often our saving grace when files or iPads are lost. His availability for trainings, support in the classroom and his love for learning make him an excellent Eanespiration recipient.
Ms. Gina Morreale
Ms. Morreale has a fun and engaging teaching style that is a joy to watch. She is one of the most positive people you will ever meet. Gina has made a lasting impact throughout the social studies department by providing fun, student-centered instruction where all learners are pushed to reach their highest potential. Her welcoming classroom culture creates a climate of trust, respect, and fun learning. Our students adore her and her colleagues respect her tenacity. She is a true asset to WRMS!
Ms. Alena Sapp
Ms. Sapp teaches each day with passion, understanding and a deep insight for knowing what her students need to be successful. She finds ways to break down information and explain it for students who are visual and need the extra steps in learning successfully. She helps students from the time she arrives until the students leave for the day and continues after hours creating new ways to help students understand upcoming concepts. Alena is also gracefully moving through her Master's Program and bringing new insight to our teaching team with research and data driven ideas. She is truly gifted in and out of the classroom and has made an educational impact on all students she teaches each day.

Ms. Susan Murphy
Nurse Murphy is an invaluable member of the WRMS staff! She is compassionate, kind, patient and knowledgeable in helping students through any medical issues that arise during the school day. While many of her patients deal with minor injuries or ailments, there are sometimes serious incidents that occur while students are in our care. Nurse Murphy handles every situation professionally and with great care. Her medical expertise has ensured that all students and staff are safe at West Ridge. We would be lost - and probably sick and injured - without her!
Innovation AwardThose who implement a creative or innovative program, teaching method, or cost-savings.
Ms. Rebekah Ellis
Ms. Ellis brings an innovative classroom comfort that provides all her students with an exceptional learning environment. She is always on the hunt to find new innovative ideas such as the "Lock-Box" activity, which uses in-depth problem solving and social skills and allows all individuals to work cooperatively together to gain access to the box. The students break into groups with their own box and are guided through a story with hidden messages or hints as to how to seek the different combinations to each lock. Not all groups unlock the box, which allows for an interesting discussion to different approaches. This is just one example of Ms. Ellis' innovative teaching style is directed toward allowing a comfortable SEL environment for our students.

Ms. A has a love for students that can be seen throughout the campus of West Ridge and our District. She teaches her coworkers how to implement speech in a practical way that can be applied throughout the day. Every single one of her students is immensely lucky to have her on their team fighting for them. Kim is a true Hero.
