Special Education

Eanes ISD offers a free and appropriate public education to all children ages 3- 21. Services for students who are deaf-blind, visually impaired or auditorilly impaired begin at birth.

We are committed to providing every student with a disability an Individualized Education Program (IEP) in the least restrictive environment that addresses the student’s unique needs. We offer a full continuum of services through specially designed instruction in special education or general education with modifications, special education support, supplementary aids and services and related services.

BPE behavior support teacher Brian Ferguson sports his new birthday present from BPE staff – a Captain American hoodie.One of Brian's students, Nathan Bluestein, loves to wear his hoodie to school.It makes him feel safe; his armor to protect him.

Brian wanted to support Nathan and continue to build on their very positive relationship. What better way than being twins!
