Video Services

Video Services include digital video distribution and videoconferencing. Videoconferencing support is accomplished via Polycom systems staged at each campus, (plus browser-based viewing) and connections are made intra-district as well as over the Internet. Not only does this represent new and/or improved services, it also allows for the elimination of coax cables and TV's in classrooms which have presented as ADA concern.

Video Distribution is a new service as of January 2009 that will offer live and recorded cable TV streaming to all computers in the district. In the same manner, video segments from other media sources or that have been created by students and staff can also be shared via this system, which is also known as the "vBrick" system.
