Services
The Technology Services Department offers support for a wide range of services:
- LEAP!


- Leveraging Excellence Across Partnerships is a program that offers opportunities for vendors and industry leaders to interact with Eanes ISD on cutting-edge partnership projects.
- Document Imaging


- In 2009, we are added support for Ricoh multifunction document imaging systems from IKON. This enables high-quality imaging, faxing, scanning, and cost control features.
- Telephony

- We manage and maintain the district's IP-based Cisco Telephone System. This system has enhanced features over traditional phone systems and substantially reduces the district's operating costs.
- Video Services

- Digital video distribution delivers cable TV channels and recorded video content to all district computers. Videoconferencing enables live, interactive sessions for students and staff. Video surveillance systems also protect students, staff, and property.
- Computer Support

- A team of specialists maintains approximately 4000 desktop and laptop computers and also provides support for a wide variety of software products as well as administrative systems.
- E-mail

- E-mail accounts are provided supported for all staff and secondary students.
- Projection Equipment

- Mounted projectors and document cameras
- Inventory

- Investments made in technology equipment are inventoried to help control losses and for planning purposes.
- Web Services
- The District website is a primary communication link with our community. This site was completely rebuilt and re-designed in 2009 and continues to grow and adapt to meet the needs of the community.
