Employee Enrichment Programs
Mentor Program
Eanes' Mentorship Program provides a mentor for all first-year teachers. The program's main purpose is to ensure the success of first-year teachers in the field of education and also to familiarize new teachers with the Eanes' culture. Eanes ISD teachers have an average of 14 years of experience and 32% hold an advanced degree.
Staff Development
Eanes ISD has a strong staff development program. Teachers are released for six days each year to participate in professional growth activities that are sponsored both campus and district wide. Additional time is liberally allocated for educators to be released from duty to participate in special initiatives. Summer programs are also planned for increased professional growth of the teaching staff.
The Partnership for Teacher Excellence Program
The Eanes Education Foundation provides scholarships to teachers attaining a Master's degree through a customized degree plan at Texas State University and the UTeach Math and Science program at The University of Texas. More information coming soon!
